Kids are important to us, so we've created a place for them to learn about Jesus on their level. Our children's ministry, Kidzu, is a place where kids ages 6 weeks to fifth grade learn to trust God, make wise choices, and build friendships that last. Each week, kids participate in age-appropriate activities that teach the Bible in creative and relevant ways.
Kidzu is excited to offer worship experiences for our kids while we are all at home. You will also find parent resources and activities for your kids by clicking the resource button. We also recommend Parent Cue as well as following us on social media for more information and resources!
New to Kidzu? We are so glad you're here! We would love to welcome you and provide you with all of the resources you will need while we are gathering at home. Please email email@example.com
Enjoy familiar Kidzu worship songs with your kids at home or on the road by clicking the links below.
The time has come! If you registered for a Camp Kidzu kit, pick up will be on July 11th. If you have any questions, please email Jessica Jones.
Follow us on social media for fun ideas, activities, and topics of discussion for you and your child throughout the week. By reinforcing what your child learns on Sundays, your child will gain an even better understanding of Jesus' love and friendship, and what it looks like to apply their relationship with Jesus to every aspect of their lives.
At The Vine Church, we believe in fostering spiritual growth at every stage of your child's development through purposeful action and partnership. Our Family Ministry Map will give you a glimpse into the journey your child will take from preschool to high school, where we seek to embrace their physical needs (Preschool), engage their interests (Elementary), affirm their personal journey (Middle School), and mobilize their potential (High School).
In our Kidzu hallway your will find a display of parent resources. You are welcome to look through age-specific parent help books, child devotions, and parenting books. These resources are available for purchase at amazon.com or orangestore.org. Along with these book resources we would encourage you to check out the online resources of the Parent Cue! Parent Cue includes a convenient app, blogs, podcast, and more all age specific to your child.
On your first visit, look for the area designated for first-time families. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our trained volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room and introduce you and your child to their Kidzu leader. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag.
After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen in the auditorium.
On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, "Did you have fun?" and "What did you learn today?" Each week, online we provide you with Parent Take Home that will allow you to engage in positive conversations with your child throughout the week.
It is our goal at The Vine to partner with you throughout all stages of your child’s life. We can’t wait to meet you on Sunday and get started!
