HOLLY AVERA

OUTREACH AND INREACH DIRECTOR

Holly was born and raised in Fayetteville, GA (pronounced "Fet-vul" by natives). She graduated from The University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) with a degree in Marketing in 2007 and then began working with the UGA Wesley Foundation, a campus ministry to college students. It's there she found her love for empowering and teaching others about God's love, voice, and power. After 6 years, she felt God leading her in new directions. She joined The Vine in 2011 and came on staff in 2013.

Her heart is for the Church to be the Church: strong, generous, encouraging, and life-giving to those within and outside the four walls of a building. She is a Strengthsfinder coach and loves to help others discover, develop, and work from their strengths and spiritual gifts. She enjoys connecting the church and the community through opportunities of service and working in her passions for prayer, prophecy, and discipleship.
