Kidzu outreach

Now more than ever, children need great joy! You can give boys and girls in need a tangible expression of God’s love through a gift-filled shoebox. This year, we are excited to bring you two ways to pack a shoebox!

You can select toys and other fun items to include as well as a letter and photo to delight the heart of a child by packing your own at home or online! Help Kidzu reach our goal of sending 200 boxes around the world! All boxes are due by Nov 15th!

KIDZU AT HOME

Your Kidzu team is bringing you a new and improved at home worship experience. Your weekly videos now include some  familiar faces! In addition to improved worship experiences, Kidzu is providing preschool and elementary Kidzu At Home Bundles! We are so excited to provide these easy, fun bundles to help you connect with your child at home through faith conversation.

Parent Resources

In our Kidzu hallway your will find a display of parent resources. You are welcome to look through age-specific parent help books, child devotions, and parenting books. These resources are available for purchase at amazon.com or orangestore.org. Along with these book resources we would encourage you to check out the online resources of the Parent Cue! Parent Cue includes a convenient app, blogs, podcast, and more all age specific to your child.

CAMP KIDZU 2020

guests and visitors

On your first visit, look for the area designated for first-time families. We will meet your family, check your child into our database system, and one of our trained volunteers will lead your child to their age-appropriate room and introduce you and your child to their Kidzu leader. You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag.

After the service, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you. In the event that we need to contact you during the service, your child’s identification code will appear on the screen in the auditorium.

On your way home, be sure to ask your child questions like, "Did you have fun?" and "What did you learn today?" Each week, online we provide you with Parent Take Home that will allow you to engage in positive conversations with your child throughout the week.

It is our goal at The Vine to partner with you throughout all stages of your child’s life. We can’t wait to meet you on Sunday and get started!
