Team members will work alongside Nicaraguans and Amigos for Christ staff members to provide clean water by drilling wells, digging trenches and laying pipe that carries clean water to homes and installing modern bathrooms with flush toilets and showers. We will be partnering with Masana in Maputo, Mozambique. Masana is an organization that ministers to “street boys”-- boys who call the streets of Mozambique their home.  Anything from poverty to problematic home situations are reasons these young boys (all under the age of 18) turn to the streets as their home.  Masana offers a Day Center with opportunities for education, bible study, meals, showers, laundry and medical help. Staff work together to provide guidance  and support to boys and their families, with the hope of reintegrating the boys back into their homes with their families.  Our team will have the opportunity to teach at Masana’s morning church services, organize and play games, spend time with the Masana boys. Other options could include participating  in home visits to boys who have been reintegrated into their families, helping with daily chores around the house, cooking daily house dinners , as well as visiting the Catembe house to help  with any ongoing maintenance projects.

Ages 25+, Trip date to be determined

Support the families and staff at a Mission Aviation Fellowship base in Wamena, Indonesia through various projects that could include VBS for children, building relationships and teaching english classes to local staff, offering medical or dental care to staff, or working on projects for local missionaries. Ministry Aviation Fellowship pilots fly to some of the most remote places on earth to bring the love of Jesus to places that have never heard the Gospel. Pilots serve indigenous churches, missionaries, evangelists, people with emergency medical care, and Bible translators by providing them access when there is no other way except by plane, to places where the “road ends.”
